WEATHER
We fish in most weather. When we can, we try to offer the option to reschedule when winds are high, but that's not always possible. We only cancel trips for dangerous weather such as very high winds or thunderstorms. If thunderstorms roll in during the first half of the trip, we will head back to the launch and wait them out. If thunderstorms roll in during the last half of the trip, we usually end the trip.

TROPHY NORTHERN PIKE
We strongly encourage catch and release of trophy-sized pike. Pike measuring 40" or bigger are over 20 years old. Part of the reason these fish are there for you to catch is likely due to the fact that someone else released them.
We can recommend replica artists who are able to exactly replicate your catch, but unlike skin mounts, they will hold their color and look the same for generations.

We recommend checking the weather forecast and dressing accordingly
