Lake Winnipesaukee Guided Fishing Trips
We are the only full-time year-round New Hampshire fishing guide service.
TMO owner/guide Tim Moore has over 40-years of experience fishing the waters of New Hampshire.
He has been a licensed NH guide since 2006.
We offer trips on Lake Winnipesaukee in our 17 1/2-foot center console trolling for landlocked salmon and rainbow trout, jigging for lake trout, fishing for smallmouth bass, and also fall black crappie trips.
Our boat can comfortably accomodate two adults or one adult and two children under 12.
The boat is equipped with downriggers for trolling, a bow-mounted trolling motor, state of the art electronics, and is commercially registered and inspected for safety.
Your guide will be knowledgeable and friendly, and use high-quality equipment and gear to offer a safe, fun, and successful fishing experience.
During your trip, you will learn about the lake, the species you are fishing for, and techniques that will help you become more effective.
We run trips six days a week and usually offer two trips each day, an early morning trip and an evening trip. Mornings are typically the most productive, but we allways catch fish.
We offer fishing for landlocked salmon, lake trout, smallmouth bass, and black crappie. See details below.
Below you will find information about our trips, our payment policies, our calendar, and a contact form.
After reviewing our payment policies and calendar, you can use the contact form to book your trip.
NOTE: We do not combine trips. Your party will be the only ones on the boat that trip.
Due to regulations we DO NOT offer fish filleting. We can gut your salmon and lake trout upon request,
but all fish must leave the waters of the state with the head and tail intact.
From April until September 30 we keep our boat at Roberts Cove Basin Marina located at:
28 Basin Rd. Alton, NH 03809
WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE OUR NEW 50-MINUTE PRIVATE VIRTUAL LEARNING SESSIONS.

WHAT WE OFFER
We are New Hampshire’s premier fishing guide service.

Landlocked Salmon
The season for landlockewd salmon and lake trout is April 1 – September 30. We begin trolling for salmon as soon as we can get our boat in the water in the spring, which is usually the third week in April. Lake Winnipesaukee salmon typically average around 3-pounds, and get as big as 6-pounds.

Jigging for Lake Trout
Vertical jigging for lake trout often begins sometime in July and gets better as we progress toward the season closure on September 30. The action can be hot, as the fish school up in numbers in water over 100-feet deep.
Lake Winnipesaukee lake trout average around 3-pounds, but grow to as big as 20-pounds.

Smallmouth Bass
Smallmouth bass are abundant in Lake WInnipesaukee. We begin fishing for them in May and follow them as they transition to deep water in the summer, and back to the shallows in the fall. Smallmouth bass can still be caught after the lake trout and salmon season closes on September 30.

Fall Black Crappie
We target black crappie in the northern-most parts of the lake beginning on October 1st. Crappie are abundant in certain parts of the lake, and they get very big in Winnipesaukee. While we encourage catch and release of the really big ones, there is no shortage of fish in the 12-inch range, which are the best eating size in our opinion.
