Lake Winnipesaukee Fishing Guide Service offers fully guided private fishing trips on Lake Winnipesaukee in our 21-foot Lund 2075 Fisherman.
Experience trolling for landlocked salmon, rainbow trout, and lake trout,
summer vertical jigging trips for lake trout, and black crappie in October.

During your trip, you will experience fishing on a spacious and well-maintained professional fihsing boat, learn about the area of the lake you are fishing, and the species you are fishing for.
Trips run six days a week, an early morning trip and (most days) an evening trip. Mornings are typically the most productive, but we always catch fish.

TROUT AND SALMON EXPERIENCE
The title says it all. This is an experience, not just a guided fishing trip.
Experience the thrill of chasing landlocked salmon and trout on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee with Tim Moore Outdoors.
Enjoy your morning or afternoon aboard our comfortable, spacious, and professionally equipped Lund fishing boat, outfitted with high-end rods, reels, electronics, trolling equipment, and tackle.
All fishing equipment and tackle are provided. Just bring your fishing license and get ready for an unforgettable day of salmon fishing! We offer a full experience that includes knowledge and info about the lake, top quality equipment and gear.
– The season for landlocked salmon and lake trout is April 1 – September 30.
– 4 or 5 hour trips
(dock to dock)
– The maximum number of passengers for trolling trips is four. Regardelss if they are fishing or not.
– New Hampshire has an combined limit of 2 fish for salmon and rainbow trout, as well as a 2 fish limit for lake trout.
– Salmon, rainbow trout, and lake trout must be at least 15 inches to keep.
– Each angler can keep (regardless of method) any combination of two salmon or rainbow trout.
(One rainbow and one salmon, or two salmon, etc.)
– In addition to the combined salmon and rainbow limit, each angler is now allowed to take two lake trout.
– Once a limit has been kept, NH law requires anglers to stop fishing.
– Once all anglers on the boat have kept a limit of salmon/rainbows and lake trout, they must stop fishing and the trip is over.
– There are no restriction on catch and release fishing as long as your limit(s) has not been filled.
– Large groups requiring multiple boats inquire within.
We have a network of salmon and trout guides that we can hire to accomodate your corporate event, bachelor party, or other large group events.
– NH LAW STATES: “THE HEAD AND TAIL MUST REMAIN INTACT WHEN ON OR LEAVING THE WATERS OF THE STATE.”
For this reason, you are responsible for filleting your own fish.
We will gut your fish for you upon request, but you must request this before we head back to the dock.
SMALLMOUTH BASS FISHING
– We only offer a limited number of these trips on a first come first servcd basis.
– The mimimum age for smallmouth bass trips is 9 years old.
– The maximum number of anglers for smallmouth trips is three.
– May, June, and July.
FALL BLACK CRAPPIE FISHING EXPERIENCE
Experience the incredible beauty of fall fishing on Lake Winnipesaukee during peak foliage season.
Our guided black crappie fishing trips combine great fishing with some of the most spectacular scenery New Hampshire has to offer.
You will fish among breathtaking views as the surrounding mountains and forests come alive with brilliant fall colors.
– Maximum of three anglers.
– 4 hour trips

– Lake Winnipesaukee holds a lot of crappie, and often some very big ones.
– There is no size limit and a daily bag limit of 25 fish per angler. We have no problem with people keeping fish to eat, but do not allow the taking of trophy breeders.
– In order to maintain a healthy fishery, we do not allow the harvest of crappie that are over 13-inches long.
– NH law requires the head and tail must remain intact while on or leaving the waters of the state.
We do not offer fish cleaning of any kind for black crappie trips.
CANCELLATION
POLICIES
More than 60 days prior to trip – 50% refund
60 days or less prior to trip – NO REFUND
In the event your guide cancels for inclement weather, you will be given the option of rescheduling or a full refund.
NO SHOWS:
A no-show without a call, text, or email received by us prior to the trip will forfeit any money paid.
Clients 30 minutes late from start time without a call, text, or email will be considered a no-show.
WEATHER
We DO NOT fish in thunderstorms or high winds. If storms or wind prevent us from fishing at all, the opportunity to reschedule or a refund will be offered.
If storms hit during the trip and time permits, we will head back to the marina and wait for them to pass before resuming the trip. This is at the discretion of your guide.
YOUR CAPTAIN
Captain Tim Moore is the owner of Tim Moore Outdoors’ Lake Winnipesaukee Fishing Guide Service. He has been a licensed New Hampshire guide since 2006 and a full-time guide since January of 2015. He is CPR and first aid certified, holds a NH Commercial Boaters License, and is a board member of the NH Guides’ Association. He is a New Hampshire native who has fished the inland and tidal waters of New Hampshire for more than 45 years.
His knowledge of Lake Winnipesaukee is second to none and his passion for helping clients catch fish and have a memorable time is unbeatable.
Tim loves to fish, but his true passion is helping his clients catch fish, getting to know them, and seeing them have fun and find success on the water. Nobody wants you to catch fish more than he does…not even you.
OUR BOAT
The Melina Rose is a 2025 Lund 2075 Fisherman equipped with a stand-up bimini top and side curtains, and a drop-down rear curtain for cold bad weather days. You will experience comfort and safety.
The boat is equipped with state of the art electric downriggers, Humminbird electronics, and a remote controlled MinnKota bow-mounted trolling motor with GPS Spotlock technology and autopilot. We comfortably accomodate up to four anglers (not including the captain.)
The Melina Rose is excellently maintained and safety inspected annually by NH Marine Patrol. We carry a type I PFD on board for each adult client and up to two type III life vests for children 12 and under for safety, as well as emergency paddles and a fire extinguisher.

FAQ
Q: How long are your boat trips?
A: All of our trips are four hours long. You have the option of adding an extra hour to morning trolling trips during checkout..
Q: Do you offer trips on lakes other than Lake Winnipesaukee?
A: Sorry, we do not.
Q: What do you provide?
A: We provide everything you need for your trip except food, fishing licenses, appropriate clothing, and customary gratuity. All fishing gear and tackle/lures, and safety equipment is provided.
We have complimentary bottled water and snacks on board.
Q: How many people can I bring?
A: We have a maximum capacity of four passengers (Not including the captain) for trolling and vertical jigging trips. Crappie and bass trips have a three passenger maximum. Sorry, no exceptions.
Q: If I have fewer people in my trip than originally booked, can I get a refund for the difference?
A: Sorry, no. You may add additional people up to one week before the trip and pay the difference, but once your trip is booked you can not subtract from the number booked and receive a refund. We run private fishing experiences rather than traditional charters where all seats are filled by any available client. In return, we ask that you accurately book your number of people.
Q: What if I want to accompany my child/children?
A: That is fine, but everyone onboard is part of the trip and must pay. (i.e. parent with two children would be a three passenger trip.)
Q: Do small children count?
A: Yes, we count the number of passengers, regardless of age. We are legally responsible for all passengers.
Q: If I want to keep fish, do I need to bring a cooler?
A: Yes, but leave it in your vehicle. We will have a cooler and ice on the boat. A small/medium cooler for snacks or drinks is fine.
Q: Do you offer fish cleaning?
A: Unfortunately, no. New Hampshire law (Fis 403.02) requires that “Whenever a length limit is specified, the head and tail of the fish shall remain intact while on or leaving the waters of the state.”
We can gut your salmon or trout for you, but don’t recommend it if you plan to fillet them, as they are easier to fillet when intact. Crappie will be bagged whole.
Q: How do you care for fish if we are keeping them?
A: We will promptly bleed, then bag and ice your fish. Bleeding is humane and greatly improves the flavor of the fish by keeping excess blood out of the meat. It also makes any home processing (filleting) much cleaner.
Q: What if it rains during our trip?
A: We highly recommened wearing raingear, not just a rain coat.
Check the weather for the day of your trip and dress appropriately. The only time we cancel due to weather is when it becomes impossible to fish or dangerous to be on the water. Ultimately, your guide makes the final call. We DO NOT fish in thunderstorms or winds that create hazardous conditions. If time permits, we will wait out thunderstorms at the dock and resume fishing after the storm has passed.
Q: Do you pick clients up at their docks?
A: We offer free dock pick up at Ames Farm Inn for their guests. If you book at Ames Farm Inn, please let us know via email as soon as you book so that we can note and arrange pick up. Otherwise, we do not. Our marina offers complimentary parking for one vehicle when fishing with us. Additional vehicles will cost the driver $5 each.
Q: Is there a booking fee associated with your online bookings?
A: Yes there is. In order to offer the easiest, safest, and most convenient way of booking online, we are partnered with Fareharbor to offer secure integrated online booking through the website with instant confirmation. Fareharbor adds a small fee at checkout. We do not receive any of the fee.
Q: Is there a toilet on your boat?
A: Due to the lack of privacy, our boat does not have a lavatory onboard. We have a jug for the guys. There are men’s and women’s restrooms at our marina in Alton, and a porta potty at the Lees Mill boat ramp.
